During the run, my heartbeat accelerates, blood pressure rises, metabolism accelerates, my body activates and starts to work harmoniously. The lack of movement is the lack of development of the body and soul, it is like a slow death. Movement, on the contrary, normalizes all processes, stimulates the desire to comprehend and conquer. Therefore, I urge you, whatever you do, leave everything and start running, at least twice a week, little by little, slowly but run. I assure you, in a month you will see the difference in feelings, in the desire to go forward, melancholy and spleen will disappear and your life will sparkle with a new sense.
Speaking of running I simply must touch on the topic of choosing the right equipment. Perhaps you didn’t even think about it, but correctly selected clothes and shoes are no less important than the running technique and its frequency. And first of all, this is health care. High-quality running footwear will allow your legs to feel comfortable, and good clothes will remove excess heat and moisture.
There are many types of sneakers: casual, running, basketball, football, for the gym, track and a bunch of others. Of course, in this article I will focus on running sneakers but the choice may not be as simple as it may seem.
In addition to obvious characteristics, such as the quality of materials and wearing comfort, it is worth to know that you should choose running sneakers according to the type of surface on which you are going to run. For example, for running on a treadmill, low-soled sneakers are best suited, as the treadmill already has shock absorption and this will save your joints from undue stress.
For running on a track or on a flat road without obvious obstacles, it is worth choosing road sneakers with optimal cushioning and foot support. And for running on rough terrain, with a high risk of injury, you need to choose sneakers with the most elastic sole and support for the lower leg.
So, if you are just starting to run and this is your first running shoes, then I recommend to choose classic road sneakers. They are best suited for almost all occasions.
With running clothes everything is a little easier than with shoes. Here, comfort takes first place and there are no fundamentally important recommendations. You can choose shorts, leggings or even joggers and any T-shirt, the main thing is that your movements should be free and your body does not overheat or not get too wet.
