Have to work from home? Looking for how to organize your workplace?
Let's see what a perfect home office looks like
Huh, it is time to talk about a home office. All of us are forced to be on lockdown. This is tough time, but life does not stand still and many have found an opportunity to adapt. Homeschooling, home fitness and homework have become commonplace for almost everyone in the world.
I cannot say that I am delighted. I love going out, I love meeting new people, I love going to the gym and I love working in the office! So, if I have to stay at home, it would be great to make my home workspace comfortable. But where to start?
First, let's think about what an ideal home office should be
Well, this is strongly depends on what you’re doing. Unexpected, isn’t it? For my writer’s job a comfortable work place is essential and it would be ideal to think through everything down to the smallest detail. An armchair, a table, a laptop mat, a desk lamp … God … a lot of things. Spending most of the day at the laptop you start to appreciate the convenience of furniture and the quality of materials.
And sometimes, it is not so easy to find a sufficiently spacious and bright place for your desired home office. Working in the kitchen or in the bedroom on the bed only seems comfortable, in fact, after a couple of hours, your back starts to hurt so that you can hardly concentrate on your task.
So, we slightly came to advice from an expert (this is me of course).
Convenient even when space is limited

Sometimes a small corner is more comfortable than any office
A couple of tips how to make a home office comfortable
Enough space. First, you should find a cozy and, this is important, spacious place to organize your home office. Ideal if there is a window so you don’t need to invest a lot in lighting.
Office table. It is worth telling that a usual kitchen table will not suit. The best choice would be a dedicated office desk with a solid base, special top layer and drawers. Even better, if you choose wide and height-adjustable. Yes, I know it's expensive, but trust me, it's worth it.

Decorating is everything when organising your home office
A compact workplace does not mean not convenient
Comfortable armchair. Very very comfortable armchair! If you going to work all day as I do, you definitely need a good seat. It might be worth considering an orthopaedic or gaming chair.
Table lamp. There are long nights and short days in winter so you will need a good table lamp. It is advisable that such a lamp has the ability to dim so that you can adjust the brightness to your preference. The health of your eyes is critical if you want to make your home office comfortable.
Stylish solution for minimalism followers
Great when you can design a whole room like a home office
Pink fluffy details are never enough
Office tools. The main headache for each who starting work at home. A bunch of pens, pencils, paper clips, rubbers, rulers, markers, pins … ahhhr. Just to list them all I’ll have to spend the whole day. So you have two options here: to buy an office tolls set or buy gradually as needed. In the first case, you will probably buy a bunch of unnecessary things, and in the second you will have to constantly go to the store. Hate office tools!!!
Decorations. Caution, this section for office maniacs only. Although the office is designed to work, we all want to make it a little cozy or cute, if you know what I mean. To add some wall paintings, some pretty figurines, a photo frame, favourite plant and other trinkets that will cheer you up and sometimes help you get in a positive mood even during routine tasks.
Classic solution with a touch of home comfort
When you share your workplace with your daughter
Pink, white and gold, this is enough for any cozy decoration
Well, it turned out a little more than a couple tips, but it's better to be over ready than not ready enough, right?
Home work benefits
Now is it time to talk about why working from home is so good? Despite the obvious flaws, working from home still have some advantages.
First, of course, is the working schedule. Yeah, being home you cannot be strictly controlled by your boss or colleagues. Which is somewhat relaxing. For me personally, this is a plus, I like working in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Smart space allocation is essential
Let your workplace gradually fill with small details of comfort
Sometimes you need to receive visitors
Savings on public transportation. For some, not having to get to work is a huge advantage of working from home. Plus an extra hour (hours) of sleep.
A…and that’s all, I think! If you know more advantages of working from home, welcome to the comments. Because I, while preparing the article, counted more cons…
Out of decorating ideas? Use wall paintings!
And faux fur under your feet for complete comfort
Lastly, keep order for maximum productivity
Nevertheless, taking into account that most of us have no choice, it is very important to organize your own cozy home office. Let there be some pleasantries at this stage of life.
